Getting an error when dragging control from toolbox to artboard.

The error I'm getting is:

A reference to "Engine, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null" has been added to the project. In order to use types from the new reference, press OK to restart the XAML Designer. After the XAML Designer restarts, re-create the control on the artboard.

'Engine' being the name of and top namespace of my Windows Game Library project that I'm referencing into a separate WPF Application project. I've basically been trying to mimic the solution setup of the Xnaml demo.

I should note I'm using Visual Studio 2012. I'm not sure if that matters though since I've already gotten my XNA working fine with it, and the Xnaml demo solution upgraded to VS 2012 is working 100% fine. Can drag and drop the Xnaml control and everything.

Any idea's what I might be missing?
